We deliver control system projects end to end. The same team that configures the system builds the cabinets and commissions it on site, which removes the interface losses that occur when engineering, panel building and commissioning are split across three vendors.
System Configuration and Engineering
Detailed control system configuration, with Yokogawa and Siemens as our primary engineering platforms:
- Control strategy configuration and graphics development
- I/O database build and point configuration
- Sequence and batch logic implementation
- Alarm configuration, applying rationalisation principles from the outset rather than inheriting an unmanageable alarm load on day one
- Interlock and safety system configuration
- Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) preparation and execution
Control Cabinet Design and Integration
Design, build, wiring and testing of control system cabinets and marshalling panels:
- Cabinet layout and thermal design
- Power distribution and UPS integration
- Marshalling, termination and cross-wiring
- Fibre and network infrastructure within the system
- Point-to-point wiring verification and continuity testing
- Documentation packages — as-built drawings, loop diagrams, termination schedules
Commissioning and Startup
Site installation supervision, loop checking, functional testing and startup support:
- Site Acceptance Test (SAT) execution
- Loop checking and field device verification
- Sequence and interlock functional testing
- Operator training on the delivered system
- Startup attendance and post-startup tuning
- Handover documentation
Modernisation and Migration
For plants running control systems approaching or past end of support: assessment of the realistic options, staged migration planning, and a spare parts strategy covering the period before migration. Not every plant should migrate immediately, and we will say so when that is our honest assessment.
Data Layer and System Integration
Making plant data accessible without disturbing the control system — interfacing to DCS, historians, laboratory information systems and analyzer networks, with the isolation and security separation that operating plants require. This is frequently the enabling step for our software products.
Assessment and Benchmarking
Independent assessment of analyzer fleet performance, alarm system health or blending operation effectiveness, delivered as a prioritised improvement plan. This is often the first engagement, and it commits you to nothing further.
